Tom
Fishburne is a cartoonist moonlighting (or is it daylighting?) in brand management. He
regularly sends out the marketing cartoon Brand Camp to marketers
worldwide, inspired by his day job in consumer products.
Tom learned to draw cartoons while doodling in the margins of business cases as a Harvard Business School student, and first launched Brand Camp 5 years ago by tacking the cartoons to the side of his General Mills cubicle and emailing them to his class of fellow Associate Marketing Managers. Brand Camp is now emailed regularly to thousands of marketers and is a regular feature of Brandweek, FastCompany.com and Stagnito's New Products Magazine. In his day job, Tom is helping launch Method Products to the UK as Marketing Director and has previously managed consumer marketing and new product development for Häagen-Dazs, Green Giant, Yoplait, and Cheerios. He frequently uses his cartoons to speak about marketing at conferences and campuses, including Stagnito's New Products Conference, Harvard Business School, and the Fuqua School of Business. Tom's cartoons have been published by The Asian Wall Street Journal and Harvard Business School Publishing. He's published two cartoons books, Brand Camp and View from the Sky Deck, a two year cartoon strip on life in business school. The San Francisco Bay Area is home, but he's currently living in London with his wife and two daughters.
